Richard Mawrey KC, the UK’s most experienced Election Commissioner (Judge), will deliver the first public lecture series on modern election fraud. Over the course of four weeks, he will present an historical narrative of the development of election law as a bulwark against corruption, identify and analyse modern forms of election fraud and other malpractice, discuss the major cases and judgments he has delivered over the past three decades, and outline his proposals for strengthening the integrity of UK elections against all manner of serious current threats. This series will be essential for anyone with an interest in British democracy, UK politics and constitutional law.
